My Dearest Blaine,

I miss you so much. I hope McKinley is treating you well. I know it must be hard on your own (it’s so hard without you here with me) but it’s only for a short time and we’ll be back together again.

Dad and Carole helped me move into my dorm a few days ago as you know; I think it put my dad at ease to see where I’m going to be for the next four years. My dorm is really quite nice. I’m in the Stuyvesant Park Residence, which is where they house almost all the first year students. My roommates’ names are Jeffrey and Peter, and they’re really nice guys. Jeffrey is studying Fashion Merchandising and Peter is here for Illustrating. They saw me put up photos of you and I beside my bed and Jeffrey absolutely swooned over you. We’ll have to be careful and keep you away from him when you come to visit.

Finally getting to live in New York is overwhelming; it doesn’t even feel real to me yet. It feels like when I came here for Nationals, and that I’m going to have to pack my suitcase and come ‘home’ soon. Living here is incredible; it’s everything I’ve ever hoped for. You’ll love it here, Blaine. I’ll be able to hold your hand and kiss you whenever I want and we won’t even have to worry about people seeing us.
