Well I guess that depends on what you mean by public, because usually when we see them together it’s in a professional setting. While that’s public I wouldn’t really qualify that as a genuine couple interaction because they’re both expected to act a certain way on the red carpet or whatever, you know? I think there are some video interviews with him and Mia in the background where he is just as silly as he normally is. I don’t think Darren is ever shy. I can’t remember which one I’m thinking of, might be the Teen Choice Awards. This one:

Well first off let me preface this message by saying I don’t know ANYTHING about their relationship outside of what we see in photos or videos that we get sometimes. I don’t know either of them personally, I don’t know what it is like for them. |
